Delicious food, friendly service and reasonable prices. This place hits the trifecta! Best roast beef sandwich I've had since Tommy's Lunch (Cambridge, MA) in the 1970's!

I had the fish and chips the haddock was so good and fresh! The got the beer battered our waitress was so friendly and helpful' we are from Texas so we didn't know what to get! My husband got the Black Russian it was soooo good! 10 out of 10

Great food and service. First time here so we tried a little bit of everything. Roast beef sandwich was very good and filling. The lobster rolls were good too. Can't go wrong with either one!

My wife and I eat here quite often. Their signature roast beef sandwiches are very good. The cheeseburgers are some of the best in the area. The seafood is always spot on. I almost forgot...Breakfast...can't go wrong. In my opinion, if you're lucky enough to have one of the older women that have been there for years serve you it's usually a much better experience. The atmosphere is casual and loud at times but, very friendly. The new owners are doing a nice job!

The ambiance is basic but to this California girl, the food was terrific! Seafood chowder was loaded with fish, scallops and clams. The lobster roll was brimming with its namesake! So fresh.Just what I was looking for to fulfill my quintessential New England experience. Service was friendly and excellent- very reasonable prices Beefside- what a funny name for a restaurant with great seafood They did have roast beef sandwiches too, but I was not interested. This has to be a neighborhood staple and favorite. The place was packed and the staff super friendly. We found this via Yelp and the reviews were spot on. We tried the famous roast beef sandwich and we loved it. The meat was rare and sliced thin in a soft roll and had the right amount of mayo. So glad we stopped here. We were so hungry I forgot to snap a pic.

Absolutely loved this place! HIGHLY recommend the Seafood Chowder! Top favorite chowder of all time! Perfectly creamy and flavorful! Service was great too, everyone was super friendly and patient! The seating area has a cozy feel to it. I think about this place all the time - wish we could teleport it to Connecticut haha This will be my first stop when I head up north again!

Really enjoyed their Giant roast beef sandwich ($10.50) The portion of meat was 6oz and it was tender, but I loved the bun it was in! It tasted like a more buttery Martin's potato roll. So good. I then tried some of what my mom got, a small order of chicken bits ($8.50). I did not expect the chicken meat to be so white and juicy. The quality was great and we enjoyed its fried coating along with dipping them in their homemade bbq sauce. The employees were so nice as well. Very friendly!
